Inheritance Tax

My father died and left money in the bank in Thailand. He gave instruction to the bank to divide the money and give to all of his children.
An amount of about US$250,000 will be given to me.
Will I have to pay any inheritane tax on this? What are the levels of exemption?
I am a resident of the US and now lving in California.
