how many dependants??

I have been claiming 2 all year .I just got married in june and I have 2 children .I started a new job today and want to find out how many dependants i should claim so that I don't get my whole check taken , but also get a nice tax return at the end of the year.my wife is a stay at home mom however she worked a couple of weeks .I am just kinda looking for a middle ground i guess, but i don't know what to claim... thank you Clayton
