IVE JUST LEARNED THAT I MAY HAVE INCORRECTLY CLAIMED A DEPENDANT.I HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED MY REFUND.WILL IRS COME AFTER ME?I SUPPORTED MY LIVE IN GIRLFRIEND ON A MEASLY 12GRAND AND CLAIMED HER BECAUSE SHE WAS UNEMPLOYED THE WHOLE YEAR.SHE RECEIVED 4000 DOLLARS IN UNEMPLOYMENT AND I LATER FOUND OUT THAT SHE WOULDN'T QUALIFY. I FILED ONLINE WITH CITIZEN TAX AND A PROMPT TO THE QUESTION OF HER BEING ELIGIBLE TO QUALIFY AS A DEPENDANT NEVER WAS ASKED IT ONLY ASKED FOR HER SSN#.DOES ANYTHING EVER GET BY THE IRS?ARE THERE PENALTIES?AUDIT???
